This weekend The Martello in Bray are putting the pro in prosecco with their very first prosecco festival. The corks will pop for Bubbles Festival from Friday 10th – Sunday 12th August. Where every evening from 6 p.m. prosecco will be served up and celebrated, topped with candy floss, made shimmer with rose gold and flow in the company of live music acts and late-night DJ sets.
Guests can Push for Prosecco, push the spinning wheel to see if it’s a complimentary snipe, cocktail or prosecco tree they could win. There’s also a 2 night trip to Treviso for two to be won which includes flights, hotel and a vineyard tour.
Alongside prosecco trees (9 glasses for €50/€55) mixologists at The Martello have devised a special drinks menu for Bubbles Festival. For the purists – chilled bottles of Moet & Chandon Brut Imperial N.V., and the classics – Prosecco Royale and Aperol Spritz. For something totally different but very moreish, Gin & Bubbles – prosecco, gin, raspberry puree & lime juice; the Bakewell Fizz – prosecco, Amaretto and cherry syrup and your new best friend Hugo Spritz – gin, prosecco, elderflower syrup, lime juice, soda water and fresh mint.
