Purple House Cancer Support is calling on the public to support their Purple Heart Appeal which runs for the month of February.

The Purple Heart is a symbol of support for anyone affected by Cancer.
Purple House is to the forefront in providing a range of Cancer Support services to both children and adults, through the work of their Cancer Support Centre in Bray Co. Wicklow and Outreach Support Clinic in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin.
The highlight of the Appeal is Purple Heart Day, which takes place on Tuesday 14th February.
The public are being asked to buy a Purple Heart pin badge for €2 and wear it for the following reasons:
- for a friend or loved one who is living with Cancer.
- in memory of someone who has passed away.
- in support of Purple House, who are supporting families & individuals affected by Cancer through the work of their Cancer Support Centre and services.
Volunteers will be selling Purple Heart pin badges in various locations on Tuesday 14th February, including Bray main street, Dalkey, Dun Laoghaire and in the Frascati Shopping Centre in Blackrock.
During the month of February, Purple House will be realising a number of videos on their social media pages & website www.purplehouse.ie, which will highlight the impact of a Cancer diagnosis on a family.
If you wish to make a donation to the Purple Heart Appeal, text PURPLE to 50300 to donate €4
