Wicklow County Council hereby gives notice that it proposes the temporary closure of the following public road:

| Period of closure | 12th October 2022 to 23rd November 2022 |
| Alternative Routes | Northbound Detour: Southwards on the N11 to junction 7 and northwards on Killarney Road and left at Kilbride Lane.
Southbound Detour: Eastwards on Kilbride Lane, right onto Killarney Road and southwards to junction 7 on the N11. |
| Reason for Closure | This closure is to facilitate the construction of a new footpath, public lighting installation and road resurfacing. Pedestrian and local access will be facilitated. |
| Road to be closed | Glencap Road, Kilmacanogue North, Co. Wicklow |
| Period of closure | 14th October 2022 to the 6th December 2022 inclusive. |
| Alternative Routes | A new temporary roadway will be constructed between Glencap Road and the R755 which will link both roads and provide access to all users of Glencap Road during the closure. The location of the new roadway (approx. 140m from Plucks Bar & Restaurant) will be made clearly visible to road users by erecting signage advising of the same. |
| Reason for Closure | This road closure is necessary in order to facilitate the construction of a new reinforced concrete wall and the installation of a surface water drainage line. |
