April Fools Comedy at The Harbour Bar Bray

Three nights of some top comedians are heading to The Harbour Bar Bray from Wednesday, March 30th to Friday, April 1st 2022.

The line-up includes:

Wednesday, March 30th

8 of the best new Irish comedians battle it out to be crowned Best New Act Competition winner, 2022. This show will be headlined by a very special guest and one of Ireland’s busiest and best acts in Danny O’ Brien, who drops by just before flying out to the UK on his ‘God Of All Things Bad’ tour.

Thursday, March 31st

A triple headliner in the Harbour Bar with Emma Doran (3 Arena, Vicar Street, Bridget and Éamon, viral video star), Jim Elliott(Dublin Roast Battle, Laughter Lounge, Empire) and Robbie Bonham (98FMs Dublin’s Best Comedian, Kilkenny Cat Laughs, Laughter Lounge)

These are the creme de lá creme of Irish comedy, so this one will be jam packed with laughter.

Friday, April 1st

This is no April Fools joke, one of the UK’s very best comics is stopping by ahead of his Irish tour to bring barrels of laughter to Bray.

Steve Hughes is known the world over for his hard-hitting, take no prisoners stand up. The inimitable ex-heavy metal drummer has been burning up the international circuit for the past 20 years, touring throughout Europe, Australia, USA, Canada & New Zealand to rave reviews and mutinous laughter. Most recently, he’s been playing to sell-out crowds and great critical acclaim around Australia but in 2022 he’ll be making a highly anticipated return to the UK and is set to embark upon for his first full length tour in six years with his latest solo show ‘Are You Serious?’.

Free-thinking, intelligent, opinionated; this is Steve doing what he’s always done best; offering his hilarious and insightful interpretation of an insane world; making the uncomfortable acceptable and the horrifying hilarious.

Steve will be supported by another master of the craft in Ireland’s Aidan Killian (Edinburgh Fringe, Glastonbury, Electric Picnic) and with further support from Emily Ashmore (Edinburgh Comedy Festival, At The Manor)

All shows will be hosted by Bray’s own Adam Burke (Host at Bingo Loco, All Together Now Festival, Bray Comedy Festival)
