Summer’s HOTTEST beach party is BACK!

The Beach BBQ Festival returns to Bray this July to set the summer alight with sizzling flavours, vibrant tunes, and feel-good family fun. Join the party along Bray’s stunning seafront on Saturday, July 19th and Sunday, July 20th, 2025, from 11 am to 7 pm daily.

This family-friendly festival promises a weekend packed with mouth-watering BBQ, thrilling funfair attractions, entertaining games, DJ sets, and a whole lot more! Fire up your appetite with a smorgasbord of BBQ meats, veggie delights, and global street food from top vendors — all served fresh from the grill.

Be sure to stop by the BBQ demo stage to pick up tasty tips and tricks from seasoned grillers showcasing their favourite techniques and flavours.

Prepare for a sizzling new addition to this year’s festival: the inaugural Hot Dog Eating Challenge! Think you’ve got what it takes? Step up, chow down, and be crowned Bray’s first-ever hot dog champ!

Back by popular demand, the Hot Wings Challenge dares the bold and the brave to take on tongue-tingling heat — no pre-registration needed, just listen for the PA announcements!

Whether you’re dancing at the DJ stage, riding the waves of the funfair, or chilling with a mocktail at the Salty Cove Bar, there’s something sizzling for everyone.

Admission is FREE, and no ticket is required. So, gather your crew, bring your beach vibes, and get ready for a sun-soaked celebration like no other.

Travel Advice

As with all large-scale national festivals and events, some level of disruption is to be expected due to the high volume of visitors expected in Bray. To help minimise congestion and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, festival-goers are strongly encouraged to walk, cycle, or use public transport where possible. Limited paid parking is available along Bray Seafront, and those travelling by car should make use of designated town centre car parks, including Herbert Road and Bray Central.

Please avoid illegal parking, which can cause serious traffic delays, inconvenience residents, and obstruct emergency vehicle access. Whether you’re on foot, on two wheels, or using public or private transport, we advise planning your route in advance, arriving early, parking responsibly, and staggering your departure time to avoid peak crowds.
