No item will be priced over €5, with most books will be priced at €1 or less.

Visitors to the book sale are encouraged to bring along books in very good condition to contribute to the fundraiser. Please ensure that the donated books are clean, intact, and free from any damage such as missing covers or pages.

Cathaoirleach of Wicklow County Council, Cllr. Paul O’Brien expressed his interest in relation to sustainability, saying, “This book sale exemplifies the principles of the circular economy, ensuring that books at the end of their shelf life get a new lease of life. It’s a wonderful opportunity for these books to be enjoyed and appreciated by new readers.”

Chief Executive of Wicklow County Council Emer O’Gorman commented, “We’re pleased to provide the public with a chance to give these books another opportunity to be read, I noticed many potential holiday reads in the pile, perfect for summer relaxation.”

Director of Services, Theresa O’Brien mentioned, “This event offers the public a unique opportunity to purchase interesting library stock that is no longer required. It’s a win-win for both the community and the library.”

This is a worthwhile opportunity to join the library or borrow some books, don’t miss out on a great opportunity to enrich your collection and support a good cause!
