The Bray Air Display will take place on Sunday, 24th July 2022 and event organisers working in conjunction with An Garda Síochána, Wicklow County Council and respective statutory bodies will implement a comprehensive traffic management plan to get visitors in and out of the town as quickly as possible.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that it is proposed to temporarily close and restrict traffic throughout Bray as listed below on Saturday, July 23rd and Sunday, July 24th 2022.

The road closures are in place to facilitate residents, safe pedestrian flow, public transport and emergency access for the Bray Air Display. On roads with traffic restrictions, local access will be facilitated where possible.
There will be no parking permitted or no vehicle access (including residents and businesses) to the event site at Strand Road on Sunday, July 24th 2022 (from 12 midnight on Saturday, July 23rd 2022). Mitigation barriers will be in place for the duration of the event. You are not permitted to leave your car parked overnight. Cars will be towed.

All spectators attending the event by vehicle are advised to allow time for traffic delays.
MOTORISTS SHOULD BE AWARE THAT ILLEGALLY PARKED VEHICLES CAUSE TRAFFIC DISRUPTION AND OBSTRUCTION TO MOVEMENT OF EMERGENCY VEHICLES. THERE WILL BE STRICT ENFORCEMENT OF ALL ILLEGAL PARKING IN THE AREA BY GARDAI AND SUCH VEHICLES WILL BE IMPOUNDED OR CLAMPED AND WILL BE LIABLE TO A SUBSTANTIAL FINE.
SO PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PARK ILLEGALLY – IN RESTRICTED AREAS, LOCAL ESTATES OR OUTSIDE LOCAL RESIDENCES.
YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO LEAVE YOUR CAR PARKED OVERNIGHT. CARS WILL BE TOWED.
Local Residents Access to Road Closures
Every effort will be made to discourage illegal parking in residential estates and on side streets. Barriers, signage, street cones and event-dedicated towing service will be in operation. In order to help us with these efforts, on roads with traffic restrictions, local access will be facilitated where possible An Garda Síochána & Stewards will be accepting a Driving Licence with the householder’s address displayed.
On roads with traffic restrictions, local access will be facilitated where possible.
Road closures and traffic restrictions will be managed by An Garda Sochána.

Proposed Diversion Route
Southbound traffic on Main Street Bray shall be diverted via Killarney Road. Southbound traffic on Vevay Road will be diverted via Killarney Road or via O’Byrne Road to Boghall Road and Killarney Road.
