Bray Harbour Improvement Scheme Non-Statutory Public Information Day – Tuesday 6th December 2022

Wicklow County Council has been successful in securing Urban Regeneration Development Funding from the Department of Housing, Local Government and Heritage to carry out improvement works to Bray Harbour.

These works will include:

  • Review potential for harbour wall extension, dredging of the waterbody for improved berthing and protection of boats from storms
  • Amenity and Public Realm – extend amenity area, improve street lighting, paving, cycle provision and access to recreational facilities
  • Promenade boardwalk linking the beach promenade with the harbour

RPS Consultants were engaged to carry out a feasibility study and have now prepared concept drawings of proposals. Wicklow County Council now invites all stakeholders, user groups, residents and members of the public to attend a non-statutory public consultation information day to view the work undertaken to date and the programme for the advancement of this project. This non-statutory consultation event also provides an opportunity for feedback and observations to be submitted by all stakeholders which may inform the further development of the project during the next stages.

The information will also be available to view in the offices of Bray Municipal District, Civic Offices, Bray from Wednesday 7th to Friday 9th December 2022 during office opening times.

The Information Day will be held on Tuesday 6th December 2022 in the Town Hall, Main Street, Bray between 3.00 pm and 6.00 pm. Members of the Project Team will be available to answer questions.

Wicklow County Council values the opinion of all stakeholders, user groups, residents and members of the public on this project and welcomes all feedback which will be considered by the project team as part of the next stage of the development of the project.
