Bray Wanderers finished on a high note in an action packed 4 – 1 win over near League-toppers Cork City. The game played on Friday 28th at the Carlisle Grounds attracted a large crowd and the result placed the Club at an impressive sixth place in the League of Ireland. After the game the Seagulls were inundated with requests for autographs by their growing army of young fans and spent more than an hour in post-match celebrations on the pitch.
Later that night the Supporters Club announced that Dylan Connolly was honoured as the Player of the Year, while Manager Harry Kenny has been shortlisted by the League of Ireland for manager of the year.
Also present at the match was Rocky Junior who has been inducted into the squad. The outgoing Rocky Senior was on hand to introduce Rocky Junior to the team and the fans and indeed he announced his retirement that evening too.
