In a bold new step towards future-focused innovation, Bray Air Display proudly welcomes a new collaboration with the Dublin Drone Innovation Partnership (DIP) for 2025. DIP is a collaborative partnership between Dublin City Council, the Irish Aviation Authority, and Maynooth University. This exciting addition aligns DIP’s mission to promote the safe and innovative integration of drones with Bray Air Display’s platform as one of Ireland’s most iconic aviation showcases. This new partnership creates an incredible opportunity for meaningful public engagement and innovative storytelling that highlights the benefits of drones.

The “Future of Flight” Tech Zone isn’t just for tech enthusiasts — it’s designed to engage and inform families, students, and anyone curious about the evolving role of drones in daily life. It will feature:

  • Live Drone Demonstration Segment – Where the future of unmanned aviation comes to life
  • Interactive Tech Zone – Featuring VR Drone experience – over 12’s only and offered on a first-come, first-served basis!
  • Talks – Focusing on drone safety, drones for good and smart urban integration

Veronica Mariti Sesoko, DIP Project Engagement Lead, said: “Our partnership with the Bray Air Display is a fantastic opportunity to show the public how drone technology is evolving to serve society. Whether it’s delivering critical medical supplies, supporting emergency services, or inspiring the next generation of STEM talent, we’re proud to spotlight the positive impact of innovation in action. The ‘Future of Flight’ Innovation Zone will offer a truly interactive, educational, and forward-looking experience for all ages.”

Sé Pardy, Flight Display Director, added: “The addition of DIP’s ‘Future of Flight’ programme brings an inspiring new layer to the Bray Air Display. While we celebrate our aerial heritage and world-class aviation feats, we also invite the public to discover what the skies of tomorrow might look like.”
