Get ready to wipe those January blues away because the funniest week of the year is returning to the seaside! The Bray Comedy Festival is officially back for 2026, running from Monday, February 9th to Sunday, February 15th.
From household names to the brightest rising stars of the Irish circuit, this year’s lineup is one of our biggest yet. Whether you’re a fan of sharp satire, surreal storytelling, or high-energy stand-up, Bray’s venues are about to become the epicentre of Irish craic.
2026 Lineup Highlights
We’ve scoured the best of the comedy world to bring you a week of non-stop entertainment. Here are some of the heavy hitters and must-see shows already confirmed:
- The Big Names: The Mermaid Arts Centre is hosting a stellar run, including the legendary David O’Doherty with his new show Highway to the David Zone (Thursday, February 12th) and the hilarious Emma Doran (Friday, February 13th).
- The Rising Stars: Don’t miss Shane Daniel Byrne bringing his Who’s A Big Boy tour to town on Saturday, February 14th—the perfect alternative Valentine’s date! Plus, the weekend gets even bigger with an extra show added for Northern Irish powerhouse Shane Todd on Sunday, February 15th.
- Late Night & Local Favourites: The Harbour Bar (Upstairs) remains the heart of the festival’s intimate club vibes. Look out for: Best New Act Competition (February 10th): Watch the next generation battle it out, hosted by the brilliant Karl Spain. Late Laughs: Catch Eric Lalor & Ross Browne (February 13th) for some late-night chaos. The Wrap Party: Ending the week on a high with the one and only Enya Martin (February 15th).
