The Local Enterprise Office Wicklow has launched a new campaign designed to assist businesses to ‘save time, money and energy’ while enhancing their productivity and competitiveness.
Titled “All In a Day’s Work,” the campaign emphasises the significant benefits that the support offered by the Local Enterprise Office can provide to businesses. These supports aim to reduce waste, improve efficiency and lower costs.
The campaign highlights key programs, including the ‘Lean for Business Programme’, the ‘Green for Business Programme’, and the ‘Digital for Business Programme’. All of these programs are free and begin with an assessment of the business, followed by the creation of a plan that outlines how to implement changes that will positively impact the company’s operations.
Cathaoirleach of Wicklow County Council, Cllr. Melanie Corrigan commented, “It has never been more important for local businesses to remain competitive and productive. This campaign aims to highlight the simple, practical steps that companies can take to achieve the goals. By making small changes, businesses can save time, money, and energy – benefits that make a real difference on the ground.”
Chief Executive of Wicklow County Council, Emer O’Gorman, said, “The All In a Day’s Work campaign is about ensuring that every business, regardless of size or sector, knows that support is available to help them grow and succeed. By highlighting the practical steps businesses can take, we want to show that becoming more competitive and productive is achievable.”
Vibeke Delahunt, Head of Enterprise at the Local Enterprise Office Wicklow, expressed, “We’ve already supported thousands of businesses and the real value of these supports is evident, they help companies become more competitive, more productive and ultimately stronger for the future.”
Programs such as Green for Business and Digital for Business can guide businesses toward the Energy Efficiency Grant and the Grow Digital Voucher, which offer financial support for companies looking to implement findings from these programs.
These supports have been expanded by Minister Peter Burke and the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment to cover all business sectors and are available to any business with up to 50 employees.
Businesses are encouraged to contact their Local Enterprise Office to initiate the process, or take 2 minutes to complete the form on allinadayswork.ie, and their Local Enterprise Office will handle the rest.
