PREPARATION OF LOCAL AREA PLANS FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS: ENVIRONS BRAY MUNICIPAL DISTRICT

Wicklow County Council intends to prepare Local Area Plans for Bray Municipal District (affecting Bray town and environs, Enniskerry and Kilmacanogue).

A ‘Consultation Issues Booklet’ has been prepared for each area which looks at the significant planning issues that each Local Area Plan will address. A copy of the Booklet will be on display at the following locations (during normal opening hours) from 12th October 2016 to 11th November 2016 inclusive and public information days will be held at the following locations and dates:

The current Bray Municipal District Plans and the ‘Bray MD Consultation Issues Booklet’ is available to view at:

A public information day will be held in the Bray Municipal District Offices, on Thursday 20th October 2016 from 11.00am to 1.00pm and from 4.00pm to 8.00pm

Submissions or observations regarding the review of the existing Local Area Plans and the preparation of the new Local Area Plans are hereby invited from the public and interested bodes, between the period 12th October 2016 to 11th November 2016.

Children, or groups or associations representing the interests of children, are entitled to make submissions or observations.

Submissions may be made in one of the following ways:

1. Write to: Administrative Officer, Planning Department, Wicklow County Council, Station Road, Wicklow.

2. Email to: planreview@wicklowcoco.ie

All submissions to be clearly marked with the name of the settlement to which the submission refers.

NOTE: All submissions should include your name and a contact address and, where relevant, details of any organisation, community group or company etc., which you represent. Please make your submission by one medium only, i.e. hard copy or e-mail. The planning process is an open and public one. In that context, all submissions/ observations are a matter of public record, and may also be placed on the County Council’s websites.
