Bray’s beach will transform into a festive playground of BBQ brilliance — with smoky ribs, juicy burgers, sizzling sausages, and plenty of vegan and veggie options to suit all tastes. The BBQ demo stage will serve up top tips, fiery inspiration, and live cooking displays from some of the best grillers around.

Prepare for a sizzling new addition to this year’s festival: the inaugural Hot Dog Eating Challenge! Contestants will race against the clock and each other in a feast of fun and franks — a must-see (or join-in) event!

For those seeking a thrill, the Hot Wings Challenge is back — bigger, bolder, and spicier than ever! Or why not dance your heart out at the DJ stage, ride the funfair, or cool off with a mocktail at the Salty Cove Bar?

With free entry, this summer’s tastiest and most family-friendly event is set to draw thousands to the vibrant Wicklow coast. It’s the perfect excuse to pack your sunglasses, grab your friends, and head to Bray for the ultimate BBQ beach party.

Travel Advice

As with all large-scale national festivals and events, some level of disruption is to be expected due to the high volume of visitors expected in Bray. To help minimise congestion and ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all, festival-goers are strongly encouraged to walk, cycle, or use public transport where possible. Limited paid parking is available along Bray Seafront, and those travelling by car should make use of designated town centre car parks, including Herbert Road and Bray Central.

Please avoid illegal parking, which can cause serious traffic delays, inconvenience residents, and obstruct emergency vehicle access. Whether you’re on foot, on two wheels, or using public or private transport, we advise planning your route in advance, arriving early, parking responsibly, and staggering your departure time to avoid peak crowds.
