TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – LOWER DARGLE ROAD, BRAY (L-1953-0)
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993, Wicklow County Council hereby gives notice that it is intended to temporarily close the Lower Dargle Road, Bray (L-1953-0) from it’s junction with Castle Street to it’s junction with Adelaide Villas from 23rd January to 3rd March 2017 (6 weeks)
Alternative Route
Traffic travelling between Fran O’Toole Bridge (R761) and Dargle Road (R918) shall be diverted via Castle Street and the Upper Dargle Road. Local traffic will be diverted via Fairgreen Road, Greenpark Road, Cronan’s Road and Castle Street.
The purpose of the road closure is to facilitate alterations to services and the reconstruction of the public road as part of the River Dargle Flood Defence Scheme. Pedestrian access will be maintained and local access will be facilitated in so far as reasonably possible.
