A contractor has commenced road recycling works on Monday, July 26th, 2021 at L1015, Onagh Road, Between Glaskenny and Onagh Bridge, and will continue similar works at L5014, Glaskenny Road, from Onagh Road for approximately 1km and L1017 Ballinagee Road, between Onagh Road and Ballinagee Cross. The works are expected to last two weeks in total. The roads are narrow there will be major interruptions to traffic while the works are taking place. Traffic management will be in place and motorists will be advised on which routes to use. The newly recycled aggregate will be trafficable each evening with care until works recommence the following day. The works are essential to extend the life of the road pavement. The council regrets the inconvenience the works will cause.
