Experience Five Days Of Fun With Family!
Bray’s much-anticipated St. Patrick’s Festival returns in 2025, bringing five days of cultural celebrations, family-friendly events, and entertainment to the town. From Friday, March 14th to Tuesday, March 18th, Bray will be alive with vibrant festivities that honour Irish heritage, community spirit, and cultural diversity.
Kieran Ward, President of the Bray & District Chamber of Commerce, highlighted the importance of the festival, saying, “Bray’s St. Patrick’s Festival is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the town’s vibrant culture and strong sense of community. This annual celebration also provides a welcome boost to our local economy, attracting visitors from near and far while reinforcing Bray as a must-visit destination.”
The festival is jam-packed with events and activities for all ages and interests. You can enjoy the spectacular St. Patrick’s Day Bray Parade, live music, and dance performances, experience the thrilling rides at Bird’s Euroshow Funfair, or delve into the magical realm of puppet shows. For those seeking a relaxing experience, informative talks, a yoga session, and free face painting are available. With so much to do, there’s something for everyone!
Cllr Dermot O’Brien, Cathaoirleach of Bray Municipal District, added, “The St. Patrick’s Festival in Bray is a wonderful occasion where our community comes together to celebrate our rich heritage and inclusivity. The variety of events ensures that there is something for everyone to enjoy, and we are thrilled to welcome locals and visitors alike to join in the celebrations.”
Bray’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2025 draws huge crowds

On St. Patrick’s Day (Monday, March 17th), Bray was bursting with colour, creativity, and an incredible community spirit as thousands lined the streets to enjoy the spectacular Bray Parade.
This year’s Grand Marshal, Matt Keenan, led the parade with pride, bringing a sense of inspiration and local spirit to the event. Matt, a true community hero, was recently named Bray Person of the Year 2024 for his groundbreaking work in establishing a local mental health first aid responder panel. His efforts have not only saved lives but also fostered a supportive network across Bray, making him a fitting and much-admired choice to lead this year’s celebrations.
Over 2,000 participants, from local schools and sports clubs to cultural groups and performers, brought incredible energy to the heart of the town, celebrating Bray’s diversity, heritage, and vibrant community life.
As the parade filled Bray’s streets with colour, music, and energy, Festival Chairperson Mick Glynn said, “Today’s parade was a fantastic showcase of everything that makes Bray special — creativity, togetherness, and pride in our town. From the extremely talented performers to the enthusiastic crowds lining the streets, it’s heartwarming to see our community come together to celebrate in such a positive way. Huge thanks to all our participants, volunteers, sponsors, and partners for making it happen.”
