Bré Remembers was a programme of events that ran from 22nd to 24th April 2016 to mark the 100th year anniversary of the Easter Rising. These events form part of the official County Wicklow 2016 Centenary Programme.
The events explored themes and imagery from the 1916 Rising through a variety of disciplines including design, drama, film, music and light.
Highlights of the programme included a musical ensemble by Bré Comhaltas Ceoltoiri and Craobh Chulann Monkstown, a projection mapping of the Proclamation against the Civic Offices, a theatrical performance on Bray Seafront and a screening of Mise Éire.
