To facilitate the Bray St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Wicklow County Council hereby gives notice that it proposes the temporary closure of the following public roads:
- Vevay Road north of Church Road
- Killarney Road north of Church Road
- Main Street Town Hall to Quinsboro Road
- Quinsboro Road
- Eglington Road Seymour Road
- Seapoint Road, east of Seymour Road
- Strand Road
Period of closure from 1 pm until 3:30 pm on Monday, March 17th 2025.
An alternative route for east Bray traffic will be via Putland Road, Sidmonton Road, or Meath Road.
Local north- south traffic through Bray will be diverted via Church Road, King Edward Road, Herbert Road and Main Street Bray, north of its junction with Herbert Road. Access will be available to the Herbert Road car park.
The parade route is from the Town Hall, Vevay Road, Bray (opposite St Patrick’s School) proceeding down Main Street, turning right onto Florence Road, Eglington Road, turning right onto Quinsborough Road, turning left onto Seymour Road, right onto Seapoint Road and concludes on the Strand Road.
Traffic management will be in place during the parade’s passing.
