Whether you’re commuting, exploring the seafront, or running errands, these electric bikes give you a smooth, effortless ride while helping reduce your carbon footprint.
Launched in March 2025, Moby’s e-bike sharing scheme kicked off in Bray with 100 bikes, and plans are already underway to expand into nearby towns like Greystones, Arklow, and Wicklow. With Moby, locals and visitors alike can experience Bray from a fresh perspective, all at the tap of a button.
Getting Started
- Download the App: Grab the MOBY MOVE app from your phone’s app store. It’s how you find, unlock, and pay for your ride – Download the MOBY MOVE App – For iPhone (iOS): Download on the App Store or For Android: Get it on Google Play
- Create Your Account: Sign up in the app, add your payment details, and you’re ready to roll.
- Find a Bike: Use the app map to locate nearby bikes, or simply scan a bike’s QR code if you spot one on the street.
- Unlock & Go: Tap ‘Unlock’ in the app and enter the code if needed. Check your bike’s brakes, tires, and lights, then start your ride!
- Pause Your Ride: Stopping for a coffee or a quick break? Pause the ride in the app and lock the bike securely.
- End Your Ride: Park at a public bike stand or designated spot, lock the bike, and end your session in the app.

Moby makes it simple:
- Pay-Per-Ride: €1.99 per ride (first 20 minutes included) – Prices correct as of October 2025!
- Subscriptions: Ideal for regular riders, with discounted rates and extra perks.
